absolutely love the heavy load series . Corey,Logan and Malachi story is so good , either reading the book or listening to this audio. Liam's narration or the characters is perfect , being Malachi a bossy but insecure sub, Logan the self assured Dom and Corey the switch who keeps the peace.

Two Doms and a bossy submissive

I don't know all the books in the Heavy Load series, but that doesn't matter. Because I could follow this story well even without knowing all the previous volumes. This was partly due to the great writing style of the author. Because it is easy-going and very entertaining.

Malachi is looking for a Dom, but the master he has in mind has chosen someone else. So Malachi focused on his job and got his dream job at Heavy Load. At the same time, Logan and Corey, the bosses of Heavy Load and also life partners are looking for a permanent sub in their relationship. In the club they notice Malachi, but he has his reasons to say no for now. But after a night together could be more in it and then Logan comes with rash words around the corner and Malachi takes flight first.
I loved Malachi and could understand his motives well now. I also really liked his assertive nature. He may be a sub, but he knows what he wants and how to get his way. Logan and Corey are equally likable and there are constant ups and downs in the relationship of the three.
The story has everything it needs to be entertaining: interesting characters, tangible emotions, some drama and angst, but also hot scenes and a happy ending.

Liam diCosimo narrated the audiobook and he hit just the right tone. He gave the protagonists different voices so that as a listener you could tell them apart easily. He is good at portraying emotions without overdoing it and it was a pleasure to listen to him.

A Trifecta of a Romance! Awesome Story & Narration

JJ Harper pens another terrific novel set in her “HeavyLoad!” series and it is a trifecta of a romance of two Doms and one bossy submissive. The story is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, east to relate to and connect with. Malachi, a submissive thought he found the perfect Dom but that Dom chose to be with someone else. Sad about that he was contemplating finding a different club and maybe even a different place to live, he applied for his dream job at HeavyLoad! Logan and Corey are partners in business and in life, both are Doms and are looking to add a third into their relationship and they think they found the perfect submissive at one of the kinks clubs they visit. But he left before they could approach him, the next opportunity they have they blow it with him, they were over cocky with their approach and it pushed Mal away. But they did not give up on him and Mal decides to give them a chance. The chemistry between them is electric but Mal knows it can not go anywhere especially after finding out he got the job at HeavyLoad and they are his bosses. Logan and Corey still want him, but Logan continues to blow it by saying the wrong things, Corey tries to keep the peace but Mal is set in his way and does not think they understand him or where he came from. It was a bumpy ride for Corey, Logan and Mal to get to their happy place, but it was worth the ride. This is a wonderfully plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, some hot scenes and a romance that was meant to be. JJ Harper, thank you for another great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Liam DiCosimo is a talented narrator and a voice artist. He did a great job bringing the characters and their story to life, giving each their own voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. His portrayal of the characters was spot on, he had a complete understanding of each character he portrayed, sounding believable in every role he played and just as I pictured the character to sound. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen.
