All my questions still unanswered…
If you came here from HA wanting to know what happened to Gigi and have the answer to all your questions about what happens to the both of them then prepare for disappointment.
However it’s still such a good story if you aren’t worried about that.
Hoping for a book 2 ☺️

Duet narration 🎧
I feel like I needed more! I loved reading about Gigi & Ronaldo! I thought we'd get their whole story though, so feeling like something is missing. Great narration, nonetheless. Think I could have loved Ronaldo more than Zade.

I loved this book. It was the perfect finish to the cat and mouse duet loved Gigi and phantoms story. It was just beautiful.

Oh my god! Brilliant
Oh my god! Brilliant from start to finish my heart goes out to her and her phantom! It was told in such a great way you experience her pain and worry for her and her child!
But to find something beautiful within and at the end! especially for the 1940s setting these women went through life a whole different way! Great listen and read! will be reading this book over again! thank you to HD Carlton your brilliant I love your work!

Worse than expected
The narrators volume level was drastically different, female being regular but male sounding very very quiet. The story’s pace felt slow and uninteresting. I didn’t expect much and it delivered even lower. We learnt very little about Gigi’s life and the ending is only told in Haunting Adeline; so for anyone listening to this book alone, they don’t get to know the murderous ending. We had little interactions with Frank and he doesn’t come across as anything more than friendly to Gigi (except the time he propositions the time alone). The only thing I remember about Gigi is her daily routine of looking outside of window and writing in her journal.

disappointed
anyone that has read haunting adeline knows how gig's story goes, something i was looking forward to finding out exactly how. It was completely left out and made the story feel like a waste of time tbh! the performances were top notch though
