About this listen

All my life, I battled with the knowledge I was twisted...screwed up to want something so deliciously dark - wrong on so many levels. But then slave 58 entered my world. Hissing, fighting, with a core of iron, she showed me an existence where two wrongs do make a right.

Tess is Q's completely. Q is Tess's irrevocably. But now, they must learn the boundaries of their unconventional relationship, while Tess seeks vengeance on the men who sold her. Q made a blood-oath to deliver their corpses at Tess's feet, and that's just what he'll do.

He may be a monster, but he's Tess's monster.

Fantastic

So, the first book I enjoyed, but there were things I didn’t get, some of q’s actions I was unsure of... book two summed everything up perfectly.... I enjoyed booked one, I loved book two- and I don’t even like dark romance. I loved all the secondary characters, Franko, suzett... I hated the bad guys, leather jacket, white man ... I loved tess and q in this book, love how the author ripped them open and showed them at their most vulnerable.

What this author does is fantastic, her writing, her flow, her characters- all perfect. I am going to devour each and every book from this author- bravo ms winters, what a fantastic book.

A good read

I didn't enjoy this one as much as tears of Tess. Forgetting to take out a tracker after being sold then saved from slavery is ridiculous! After going through such horror and surviving it, removing a foreign object that you know they can use to track you would be the first thing you would do surely.. even if in shock you would be clawing to get it out. I struggled with that part of the plot and it niggled me throughout. I also felt certain points of the plot were stretched out so I found myself skim reading to get to the next part of the story. I am curious to know what could possibly happen in the next book other than them having babies. I'm sure I'll read it.. but not right now.

We learn more about Q and see another side to the obnoxious, confident, emotionally withdrawn Q which was endearing.
