About this listen
Warrior Elite Series, Book 2
Sold by my father to a group of strange men, I vow to never trust another male again.
When my buyers turn out to be scientists who plan to experiment on me, I pray for a savior.
Fate sends me a savage, horned alien alpha instead.
Can I learn to trust him, or is he as cruel as the rest of his gender?
This story is "knot" for the faint of heart. It is a dark, action-packed Omegaverse story set in a world where violence and sexual situations occur. Scenes are not glossed over. Sensitive listeners please abstain.

Endearing heroine
This is the second book in the series, although I wouldn’t say it’s essential to read the previous book first. There are some dark themes in the book, though it mostly feels appropriate in the context of the story. The female main character, Keziah, has many endearing qualities and is very likeable. The way she is treated initially by Gric, the male main character, though, did make me uncomfortable, especially the rape scene.
I really liked the female narrator, who epitomised Keziah’s gentle nature with her soothing voice. The male narrator uses quite a harsh, grating voice for Gric which I wasn’t overly keen on - to be honest it kind of reminded me of the voice over in the old ‘Teenage Mutant Nunja Turtles’ cartoons, which is not ideal! I did get used to it though, and found it less grating as I got further into the book.
Once Keziah and Gric start to bond, the story becomes quite engrossing and I couldn’t stop listening. The world building is excellent and the alpha / omega dynamics make for some fascinating interactions between the various characters. All in all a great story!

Sold to the Alphas
When her father sold her to the Alphas, Keziah thinks she and the other woman captives are in for a world of pain. Gric thinks humans are puny and weak. So when he realises that Keziah is his life mate he is angry and fueled by lust.
This is a fantastic listen with excellent narraton. The characters are strong, stubborn and made for each other.

I loved the dual narration of Lacy Laurel and Curt Bonnem, both bring out the angst, humour and action.
This book is a wild, emotional ride from beginning to end. Keziah has been hurt but is brave and loyal. Gric doesn't have time for a mate. Gric maybe a Alpha , but he so needs a good shake. Both Keziah and Gric need to trust each other and stop theirs misunderstandings happen between them. A great fun, action, steamy, angst book.

Love every moment of this book!
It’s a story about Keziah who lived in an area with little food and water with her family until one day her father sells her to the ISC. While being transported, Gric and his fellow warriors who are fighting against the ICS, finds her and other omegas and save them. Gric recognizes Keziah as his soulmate and reluctantly claims her. Things don't go so well in the beginning. As time goes the bond grows. Even though Gric is the most frightening alpha around but he is her gentle teddy bear.
This was a emotional ride from the beginning to the end. There are not only moments of pain, danger, sorrow but also sweetness and spice. I enjoyed their journey to love, forgiveness and trust.
Love every moment of this book! I can't wait to see more to come.
Great duet narration and narrators brought the story to life. The narrators really fit characters of this story. I enjoyed the raspy voice of the male narrator.

A great listen.
I really love it when the one that resists the most falls the hardest and fastest. That's just the case when it comes to Gric. He no sooner sees Keziah and he is claiming her. After being sold by her alpha father it may take Keziah forever to trust another alpha. An enjoyable listen.
