About this listen
He sold his soul to the devil. Now he’s a traitor seeking redemption....
Spencer Knox was forced to leave his whole world behind when he betrayed his boss. After years of hiding in the dark shadows of the underworld and doing unspeakable things, Knox finally took a stand for what was right, and it cost him everything. As the new owner of a mechanic shop in a quaint little town, all he wants is to live a normal life in his new mountain hideaway and redeem himself from past mistakes. But life has a way of sending you back into hell when you least expect it....
Then he sees Josie Baird, the most mysterious and beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. She was far too young and innocent to get mixed up with someone like him so he stays away, determined to keep Josie from his darkness, not wanting to drag her down with him. Things change though when a friend from his past arrives in town. His protective instincts are out in force and there is no way he can keep his distance from Josie now, even if it means being drawn into an unlikely threesome that will break all the rules he set for himself in his new life.
Will Knox let his regrets swallow him whole or will he dare to dream for something more, something unexpected, something a traitor doesn’t deserve?

Fall in love with Knox!
India Kells is new to me, but she will be added to my listen list now! This book is short, steamy and so much passion! Josie has come to town, trying to make a new start. She needs to work to pay off the debts of her abusive husband so she can get divorced. Knox takes a protective liking to her, and now she finds her attraction to him palpable. But he has demons that keep him from getting involved with her. When his good friend Gabe comes into the picture, the three begin somewhat of a relationship. But is this what all three really want? Is it sustainable? Who does Josie want to be with? And what will happen to the odd man out? Fantastic characters and a good plot mold this listen. Josie is strong, confident and willing to do what it takes to be happy. Knox is a little broody, closed off and still has that alpha protectiveness. The steam factor is high, the feelings real and it's a fun listen.
Dan Price is a new narrator to me. I enjoyed his voices, easily distinguishing between characters and he has a good pace. He adds a lot to the narration with subtle nuances and lets us feel the passion.

Spencer and Josie!
Although Spencer may have done things that others would not approve of, he had his own set of morals and when they were tested he chose to do what was right even though it meant betraying people in his life. He left town hoping to leave his past where it belongs and has hired Josie to help out his business on a temporary basis.
Josie is paying the price for marrying the wrong man as she works multiple jobs to pay off his debts while she struggles financially. Getting the job working for Spencer will allow her to accelerate her plan but the chemistry between them ignites when a friend from his past enters the picture. Spencer believes that Josie deserves better than him, but will he be able to make peace with his past before it is too late?
Suspense, hot chemistry and two characters who have pasts they must overcome if they are to have a future together. I thought that the narrator did a great job with all the characters in the book. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

3.5 stars
I had a hard time getting into this story at first but once it heated up, it got my attention. I liked the menage part of the story best. This is the first book I have listened to in the series, and while it is a standalone, I think I would have enjoyed this one a little more if I had started the series with Locke and Tessa's story in The Debt Collector. Dan Price did a good job bringing this story to life.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Steamy🔥
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate and connect with. Spencer Knox is starting over in a new town, he owns a mechanic shop and lives a low key life, trying to do the right thing for others. Josie Baird is trying to get her life in order, her ex-husband is threatening her and she is paying off his debt by working several jobs. She caught Knox’s eye from a distance, then circumstances bring them closer together and when he learns her situation his alpha protective side comes out. Gage, a friend from his past, is working and living with him and things start to heat up between the three of them. But Spencer can not handle the feelings or what they may bring out of him, so he runs back to his old life. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story contains a lot of heart and is nicely plotted with plenty of drama, angst, some thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. India Kells, thank you for this terrific story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
Dan Price is a terrific narrator and voice artist. He brings the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. He did a great job portraying each character, capturing their emotions, as well as their passion which can be heard in his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

A May December romance!
A woman trying to make ends meet, a mechanic with a sordid past and the friend who spices their nights. I felt for both, she had so much drive and young as she was, a hard worker but with bad luck with his ex. He was a good man who got away from a dark life. Knox and Josie are explosive together, and naughty when Gage is around. Enjoyable listen...

Erotic Romance
The Traitor by India Kells is an erotic romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Dan Price. This is the second book in An Underground Bad Boys Romance series and can be read as a standalone.
This is the first book of India’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Spencer, Gage, and Josie. This is a quick and steamy read. I can’t wait to dive into more of India’s books in the future.
Dan did a good job on the narration. I liked that he used different tones/voices for each character.

Want More
This is a book two I'm finding out, but it can be read alone. It's a very intense book. It's not something I would normally read, but it's been an amazing ride for me.

Excellent
I really enjoyed this book. I like that the characters are real and have believable issues to get through. The dynamic of this relationship changes as the storyline developed and that was the most intriguing aspect for me. Good performance from Dan.
