About this listen
She's driving me crazy. Or am I the one driving myself crazy? I can't tell anymore.
Ever since Scarlet Rocket showed up in the flesh, she's turned my structured world upside down. My neatly ordered life, my hand-painted Aliens Versus Vampires figurines, my expertly curated comics collection - none of these things provide any shelter from her sexy, sassy onslaught.
It's a disaster of my own making. She didn't exist until I created her. Now, I can't get her out of my mind, and all I want to do is get her into my bed. Never mind that she's a thief, a liar, a con woman. Every step she takes leaves chaos in her wake. And damn if I don't want more of it.
Note: This is a full-length romantic comedy that will have you guffawing or at least snorting hard.

Not my fave
The narration was great and added a comedic element to the story. The storyline itself was one I did not expect at all and fully intrigued me, especially when the real motivation behind it all came forward. I would normally reference the characters names but that may give something away so I will just go with hero and heroine as they both go by Scarlett.
I really liked the twist and thought it was a great element to the reason behind the heroine's motivations but it wasn't carried out to its full potential. The villain was written with a funny side and it didn't add much to the story, I really just added words to the page with how much he liked to talk. I loved the hero and how he was so out of his element in so many areas but in the bedroom he knew exactly what to do. He was really an unexpected alpha and I thought the heroine would take on more of that role in their relationship. The heroine was super protective of her sister and this was a shining quality that I adored but her sister was her complete opposite and not a character I was drawn to.
Overall, a great story and I enjoyed the unexpectedness of it all.
