内容紹介

「手袋」(29分)
雪国ではお馴染みのことだが、春先、雪解けの季節になると長い冬の間埋もれていた、 色々なものが地面に落ちている光景を目にする。落ち葉、空き缶、手袋...。
りょうこさんがまだ幼稚園生くらいのことで、本人は覚えていない。彼女の母親が昔こんなことがあったと話してくれたのだそうだ。
ちょうど雪解けの頃、近くの公園で遊んでいたりょうこさんが帰宅したのは夕方だった。見ると誰のものかわからない手袋をはめていた。
汚れて、ぐしょぐしょに濡れている。どこかからか拾ってきたのだろうと捨てようとするとりょうこさんは嫌がったというのだ。
そして、この夜りょうこさんの両親は身の毛もよだつ出来事を体験することになった。
