キャリアに関する誤解の一つに、“資格”に関するものがある。よくあるIT系のものから弁護士、会計士といった士業系が代表だが、TOEICの点数、修士、博士といった学歴も広い意味では一種の資格である。資格について考えておくのは非常に意義深い。それは、キャリアの本質につながるテーマでもあるからだ。 とりあえず資格取得というのは分かりやすくてモチベーションも出やすい目標だとは思うが、結論から言うと、持っているだけで飯が食えたり給料が上がったり、転職の際に有利になる資格というのはほとんどない。 基本的に、資格には2種類ある。何かをするための免許と、何かが出来そうですよという証明書だ。前者である会計士や弁護士といった士業については、確かにそれで飯が食えるケースもあるし、企業によっては特別手当を基本給に上乗せして払っているところも多い。ただし、これらは例外的だ。その他一般の資格については、IT系からTOEICの点数まで、それだけで選考の際にプラスになるということはほとんどない。（本文より） 城繁幸『サラリーマン・キャリアナビ』★出世と喧嘩の正しい作法はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/joe.html
