Story
When Pearl Curran began to produce some of the most important literary works of her time, the world watched in awe, but the source of her inspiration would become the true sensation. As Pearl herself acknowledged, these writings were not of her own creation, instead she was channeling the spirit of a mysterious 17th-century woman Patience Worth. The claim was sensational and it rocked a community that was already obsessed with all things supernatural. Was Patience Worth a literal ghostwriter, or was Pearl Curran simply crafting her own tale of mystery and intrigue?

What a fun and interesting listen
This book has loads of facts from weird like it being illegal to die in the UK parliament, to the unusual that Pope Francis used to be a bouncer to traditional like Canada has the largest coastline. One of my favourites Scotland spend £125000 coming up with Welcome to Scotland as its slogan😂

Loved this 👏👏👏
Really enjoyed this. I've read quite a few books like this but this has to be one of the best. Must admit I had to google check a few as they just seemd too far fetched to be true! My favorite - it has to be using time in seconds to demonstrate the vast difference between a million and a billion - 12 days v 32 years - its mindblowing to think how millionaires make it to become billionaires! I started using these as 'daily facts' on the school run with the kids, they find it really entertaining.
