Sarah J. Maas
About this listen
The seductive and stunning #1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas’s spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.
As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future?and the future of a world in turmoil.
Bestselling author Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second audiobook in her dazzling, sexy, action-packed series to new heights.

Love story of Feyre and Rhysand
The narrator is so annoying—or perhaps Feyre is annoying. She’s the most frustrating protagonist I have ever encountered. I kept reminding myself that she is only 16 or 17 years old. She is full of red flags: very selective and convenient in shaping her narrative. I didn’t like how the plot turned at the end. Tamlin didn’t deserve that ending; it was unfair to him. He was also someone who experienced trauma and loss. All he did was try to get his love back—someone who, ironically, kept whining about how her father abandoned them. Anyway, I guess that’s how dramatic the story needed to be. But it shouldn’t have ended this way for someone who helped Feyre and her family from the very beginning.
The love story between Rhys and Feyre is beautiful—hot, steamy, and quite addictive.

Original, a "Movie in your mind" indeed
The second book of the ACOTAR series is my all-time favorite book. I have read and listened to it so many times I cannot count. It the one one book I will turn into when I need some boost. For everyone loving the series I think this book has a special place in their heart.
The dramatized adaptation offered so much depth, but in some moments the background noises where too much.
To the people who look at the stars and wish,
To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered.
