Summary

Fire is not the only thing that haunts her dreams.

Aurelia made some difficult decisions as part of her work for the resistance to the wicked Unseelie King, and Aspen may never forgive her. But when emissaries come asking for her queen's aid, Aurelia and Aspen are forced to work together to discover the cause of a mysterious blight and gain an ally in their war against the Unseelie King.

Sent deep into the Dwarven realm on behalf of their queen, this mission could be a second chance for Aurelia and Aspen, as long as the dangers they discover there don’t destroy them first.

Fans of Sarah J. Maas as Jennifer L. Armentrout will enjoy Aspen and Aurelia’s second-chance romance in this spicy sequel to A Dream of Stars and Darkness.

A great continuation on the series

It was great to see A different POV this time round! I loved the fact it showed us more of the world this time too!

Exactly how to bring an incredible story to life

The second audiobook for this series did the story absolute justice, not that I expected anything less after listening to the first.

I absolutely adored the Scottish accents used for the inhabitants of the dwarven realm and fits what I had imagined perfectly.

Again Alexa has crafted intricate and unique voices for each of the characters allowing each of them to be easily distinguishable drawing you further into the tale being woven.

I can’t wait to listen to the last audiobook in this series when it is released, and I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a new fantasy series to get lost in.
