The Wickeds Book One

The Wickeds Book One.
While this can be read as the first in a new series, I highly recommend reading the preceding series. The characters will make a lot more sense.

Chloe Mallery loves her job at Lower Cape Assisted Living Facility (LOCAL) and her scrapbooking hobby. She is happiest around her sister and the elders she works with, but Justin Wicked is determined to prove to her that he isn't like the men of her past. Justin might be in a motorcycle club and seem like a rough, dangerous man, but his club is community minded and protective of those in their circle. Chloe might not see it yet, but Justin fell for her a long time ago.

If you're looking for a biker with a heart of gold and the woman who slayed him, this is the book for you!

Very enjoyable

Loved the story, it was truthful, emotional and down to earth yet seemed a little fairytale like. I really enjoyed Justin and Cloe's romance, their interaction and the way their individual backgrounds unfold though the book. Totally worth a credit!

Amazing Read/Listen

A Little Bit Wicked by Melissa Foster is the first book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights At Bayside series that I listened to on audio narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow.

I absolutely love Melissa’s books. They always pull me in and leave a smile on my face. I loved the relationship between Justin and Chloe. I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series The Wicked Aftermath to get Tank and Lea’s love story.

Savannah and Aiden did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love MC Romances, Contemporary Romance, or Romantic Comedies.

A Little Bit Wicked

Wow. So many highs with the lows in this book. Although this book is longer than ones I usually listen to, you don’t even notice the time passing since it sucks you in so thoroughly. I absolutely love everything about these two and the amazing people that surround them. This is a perfect beginning to a new series.

Wickedly good!

Ah, the wicked web Melissa Foster weaves! Each of Melissa Foster's books lets into the budding relationship of a couple and lets us like them, be frustrated and then fall in love. This book wasn't like that. I was in love with this couple right from the start. Justin Wicked has been attracted to Chloe Mallery for a long time. Each advance had her just pushing him away. Until she realized all of her preconceived ideas about him were false. And now we have them together. Their story is so deeply emotional, yet at the same time, I never felt the struggle. They were together, and meant to be, so I was never worried. I don't know where Melissa dreamed up Justin, but if I was going to fall for a biker, he is the one. Patient, loving, compassionate, he had me from the first chapter. And Chloe is just as amazing. She is fearless, battling her own past, learning herself and together they face it all. The one thing I love the most about Foster's books, is while the romance is front and center, she always pulls in real life issues and this one is powerful. Justin dealt with so much, and Foster never skimmed over it. She dealt with him head on, taught us, tugged at our hearts and let us know how life altering things are. Plus she gives us a family support system, each and every one I love. Their stories intertwining, giving our hearts that warm feeling! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more of the Wickeds.

Now for the narration. Aiden Snow melts my heart as Justin. His gravelly voice is perfect for this hero. It gives him an edge, but Snow knows just how to add that tenderness into his voice to make Chloe his. Add Savannah Peachwood as Chloe and we have a perfect casting. She falls right into the personality of Chloe, adding inflections and nuances to her performance to bring out all the emotion. I love these two together.

This was the sweetest book!

This was the sweetest book! I loved Justin! He is the perfect "bad boy" and I couldn't get enough! I loved the Dark Knights and their dynamic and I loved how they welcomed Chloe in with open arms and gave her everything she always wanted. I couldn't quit smiling throughout this entire book. It was a beautiful story.

The narrators did a fantastic job. I loved the fact that they had different voices for different characters and they nailed the emotions!

Excellent narration, stand alone story

I loved the characters in a Little Bit Wicked. The men are tough in some ways, but sweet in others. The Dark Knights MC does a lot of good for the community and the characters accepted the consequences for any unlawful actions. I appreciate that there weren't a lot of relationship miscommunications. It's been awhile since I've read the earlier Love in Bloom books. It's not required to have read any other books before this one, though there are a lot of familiar characters from related series.

Aidan Snow was new to me, but Savannah Peachwood is one of my go-to narrators. Together they made a great team to bring the characters to life.

A fun sexy audio

Wow! You definitely get value for money with this audio! Over 14 hours listening to the truly delectable Aiden Snow and the awesomeness that is Savannah Peachwood. And just so you know, you do get the quality as well as the quantity. The Dark Knights MC is no ordinary motorcycle club, they’re saviours to many in the community (animals included), and although they may be protective alpha males who act first and deal with the consequences later, they should not be labelled bad boys, and to them, family is everything. Although Justin wasn’t born to the club, he’s still a full fledged member, and that is why Chloe will never go out with him. She wants a clean cut, reliable, suit wearing good boy, that said, she’s not had much luck with them in the past. From the moment Justin sets his eyes on Chloe, he knows she’s the only woman for him, and guess what? He’s right, he’s also extremely persistent, and eventually she has no choice but to give in, and she’s so glad she was wrong about him, because he blows all her theories about tattooed bikers to oblivion. A fun sexy read that was highly enjoyable and not too angsty, some added drama and emotion in the mix along with some super fun characters. Lots of sexy time, and romance, oh the romance, so sweet.
