The book is targeted to high school aged teens and kids aged 10 and above. Topics covered include changes in social policy and US foreign policy over the period. Major events include the moon landings, the Cold War, the development of the atomic bomb, the 9/11 attacks, the reunification of Germany, Vietnam, the Iraq wars, the evolution of civil rights in America among other topics.
