Please tell me there's a sequel...
Another one of Samantha Downing's books that I loved. Until the epilogue...

Overwhelming suspense
The most addictive romance thriller I’ve read that’s made me feel afraid.
My teeth hurt every time I listened to this story lol. My jaw hurts now after finishing it. This story was so intense my body felt it from beginning to end. The suspense was overwhelming. And my jaw was just clenched the whole time.
But that didn’t stop me from loving this story. The experience of listening to it was so good.
The plot was not what I was expecting at all. The guessing was a great game for me.
An on and off again relationship over a period of 10 years comes back to haunt Ivy and Wes.
The book starts with Ivy calling the police to report a man stalking her. Her ex boyfriend Wes. She does this to get his attention. And it does he falls right into Ivy’s trap.
This story has so many twists I didn’t see any of them. The ending. For me it was the best ending. I won’t say why. This story isn’t what it seems. The samples I posted aren’t what they seem. lol. On my IG ef_reads

Disappointing
Struggled to finish. Nothing twisty, nothing shocking. Perhaps my own fault for expecting something on par with 'My lovely wife'? I had no strong feelings about the protagonists other than 'wow, they're annoying', and the story seemed a bit cobbled together - sorry :(
