Who doesn’t love cherry pie
A story of second, third, and fourth chances for up and coming yoga instructor Katie Madigan and NFL superstar Harlan Taylor. After a chance meeting at a mutual friend’s wedding things heat up pretty quickly for Katie and Harlan. Sadly, they also cool down just as quickly, as fate seems to have other ideas for their future. Fast forward seven years and a chance meeting in a bar brings them briefly back together. Harlan is now a single dad, co-parenting a totally adorable 6 year old bundle of fun, Abby (super cute). Fate again steps in, the timing is off, and they both go their separate ways. They do however stay in touch, thank goodness. Herein follows a super addictive, super fun friends to lovers romance. I couldn’t get enough of it. Harlan is totally swoon worthy, he’s the perfect dad, and a true gentleman, he’s the best guy a girl could fall for. Katie and Harlan have always had a connection, they just click, in and out of the bedroom. Highly entertaining. I had the privilege of reading the ebook and listening to the audio version of this book, and as ever with Lauren Blakely’s audio books, the cast is perfect. A Wild Card Kiss gives us Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon narrating Harlan and Katie beautifully (oh so beautifully), and because LB is the queen of audio, we also get a chapter each from Teddy Hamilton and Julia Whalen.
We also get a bonus audio, Bedroom Deals, Zachary and Olive’s story narrated by Blake Lockhart.

Made me smile
Made me smile, as much as the cover model does everytime I see his face. loved this book.
Great narration pairing, Lauren is perfect at choosing the right narrators for the characters bring them to life.

Loved it!
I loved this audiobook! Sometimes you have to make your own timing and go for what, or who, you want. With so many starts and stops between Harlan and Katie, their road to a happy ending is a great journey for us to follow along. They’re amazing together, and so are the rest of the characters in the story. It’s great to see old friends again (hi Cooper and Jones!) and I can’t wait to continue this series and discover the stories for the others. I’m sure they’re just as entertaining as this book was!
It isn’t necessary to enjoy this book, but I do recommend reading the prequel novella before diving into this one. It’s such a great and steamy meet cute!
