About this listen
Happyism is Australian funny man and host of Channel 4's‘The Last Leg', Adam Hill's eagerly awaited debut UK audiobook. Recorded at the famous London Hammersmith Apollo, everyone's favourite Antipodian delivers a first class evening of comedy with the usual anecdotes and audience participation all delivered in his refreshingly unique, laid back style.
Allowing us into the world of stardom, he re-counts jaw-dropping tales of meeting the Dalai Lama (and to his surprise making him laugh!) as well as his excitement at meeting The Muppets. Happyism is not only the title, but also his newly formed cult religion and is guaranteed to leave you with a more positive outlook to life!

Joyful
Absolutely, perfectly, astoundingly, without a doubt the most epically joyfully amazing comedian in the world

Very Funny and Clever!
Loved it! Would have preferred less swearing tbh. The clean jokes were excellent and I loved the story with the Dalai Lama. Well recommended.

Laugh out loud funny, literally !!
I listened to this whilst doing my very boring job and actually had to stop several times as I was laughing so much. A joyfully funny and witty performance that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Doesn't Quite Work
Hilarious, just as you would expect, however far too much of this show is visual so there are great chunks of it that don't work in audio only. Not a good choice to adapt to Audible.

Needs to be seen not heard
Funny show but difficult to fully enjoy because you can't see the visual jokes. Doesn't work as audio book.

Generally mediocre
Pretty lame throughout, poor content and limited witiness. No "laugh out loud" moments here.

love Adam Hills but doesn't work as an audiobook
There is nothing wrong with comedy in this show, but you miss so much because you cannot see the sign interpreter on stage who Adam Hills is bantering with
