Terrible way to treat Agatha Christie’s work
Agatha Christie created such great stories, I don’t know why they had to ‘update’ them in such a crude, ham fisted manner. They kept the general style of talking but just stuffed a few ‘current’ references in e.g. George Bush and the war in Afghanistan. It doesn’t work at all and wasn’t clear before purchasing the audio book that the stories had been spoiled in this way. They have also ramped up the misery in the sad bits so instead of feeling that you have enjoyed the adventure you are left feeling rather gloomy, especially if you listen to a few at a time.

Repackaged version of 2010 dramatisations
I was a bit disappointed in finding out that this is just a repackaged version of the BBC dramatisations that came out in 2010 . Some of them are good but some of them are just fair . Perhaps it is because I just didn't like some of the stories . The only good thing about this audio is that you get all 12 stories at once instead of having to purchase them separately on this same site .

Not expected
Seemed to be more focused on underlying sexual tensions than the actual mystery plot. Disappointed to be halfway through one and it switched to focus on the main characters bedroom activities, but it wasn't even clear what the mystery was supposed to be in the first place. Wish I could un-buy this book. Did not have the standard that I'd expect with something using Agatha Christie's name.

Don't bother
Not very good at all, but modern day, and stories to short and mixed up at times so not very clear story line. I

dull collection of stories
I was expecting a lot more of the classic Christie experience instead a collection of very short melodramatic stories that didn't really go anywhere.

Boring
The stories are incomplete and not written by Agatha Christie given there is a reference to a laptop?!

Twelve Radio Mysteries
I don't often like updates of Agatha Christie's work, I prefer them set in their original decades. However this volume has been updated with care and is still a joy to listen to

Disappointing
Just disappointed with this audio production, normally a fan of Agatha Christie. Somehow these stories just didn’t grab me. Couldn’t finish the audio book. Had originally bought as I thought they would be great to listen to while walking on treadmill, more of an irritation.
