Summary

A hard-core depiction of good vs evil!

This supernatural suspense, dark urban fantasy series is a controversial tale of transformation to angel and demon where Alec Winters roams the gritty streets of New Orleans to protect its innocent victims and brutally destroy the wicked people who hurt them.

Fans of the movie Death Wish and The Equalize, and the television series Dexter, Supernatural, and Constantine will enjoy this series.

Some see Alec Winters as a breath-taking angel of light. Others see him as the most terrifying, mind-blowing demon they could ever imagine.

Vigilante or Serial Killer?

An Alec Winters Complete is a boxed-set of the series and includes the following books:

Prelude, Book 1

Crescent City, Book 2

Port City, Book 3

Harbor City, Book 4

Author's Warning: Includes emotional triggers of every kind. Alec Winters brutally murders criminals - rapists, murderers, sex traffickers, pedophiles, and abusers of all kinds - in order to protect their innocent victims. This emotionally charged, dark fiction story - deals with elements of fear, death, and the darkest side of life. However, the situations depicted are so real, so violent, that this series is not recommended for the faint-hearted or those under the age of 17.

just plain bad

I forced myself to stick with this badly written drivel through book one. The issue isn't the subject matter, rape, incest, child abuse, murder and torture are all mentioned. Only mentioned, no details are given that could offend even the most delicate of sensibilities. No, it's just a poorly thought out pile of words, I can't even call it a story.

Mr Studly Perfection is seen as an angel by good people and a demon by bad people. Naturally a torturer (clearly stated to be a torturer) and assassination sees the angel, because he murders and tortures for the US Army.

Dainty Mad Girl (13 yo) confesses to a murder she didn't commit just before the end of her brother's (Mr S.P.) trial for killing their father. No further trial is needed, that's good enough for the court. DMG is whisked off to end her days in an insane asylum and Mr SP walks free, never mind the massive unbelievable failure of critical thought by all involved.

Mr SP's Girlfriend - Unearthly Beauty becomes a prostitute while he's off helping torturers. Not one of those nasty street hookers though they are bad. No UB is immediately the Best Courtesan Ever, like a therapist who'll let you enter by the back door for a large fee. Her clients are rich so this is good. Everyone is fine with this except one friend who doesn't see any difference between the two types of prostitution, what an idiot. Low price streetwalkers have poor johns so they are obviously morally repugnant. High price Escorts have rich clients so are completely respectable.

There's so much, ore shit but I'd really like to put this thing out of my mind, regret wasting money on it and listen to something good, or at least mediocre.
