About this listen
Izzie Di Sante loves a challenge but not so many on the menu at once. With sudden personnel changes, she’s juggling the staff schedule for the family restaurant. Her sister, Chloe drops startling news, and Izzie’s itching to chase down a new cold case. Besides an excuse to see Henry, she empathizes with the victim’s sister, who wants answers. Answers the local police haven’t been able to provide. Izzie searches for even the most tenuous lead to the killer, only now both Izzie and the victim’s sister have targets on their back. Just when she thinks she’s got it under control, yet another surprise pops up! The dishes Chloe creates are yummy, only Izzie needs to figure out the killer’s recipe for murder and soon.
An Itch for Danger is the third book in the Izzie Di Sante mystery series. Each book is a stand-alone cozy mystery with visions of Chloe’s cooking and baking, mixed with Izzie’s itch to investigate cold cases.

Another great listen.
This is another great addition to this series by Christa Nardi. When a member of staff suffers a heart attack the resteraunt staffing becomes a bit of a nightmare. On top of this the murder of a young lady which is causing the cops a headache grabs Izzies attention. Good characters and an interesting plot makes this a good listen. There's a change of narrator for this 3rd book which I'm not usually keen on but Liz Wylder Boyer does a great job and brings the whole story to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.

Cooking up a good mystery
I enjoyed this book. The author fits so much in one book. A cold case to solve, running a restaurant trials with sick staff, a cat having kittens and there is even time for an engagement. It all works well and is nicely balanced keeping you hooked until the end. I knew running a restaurant was hard work but never this much and I like the fact that the author doesn't have her characters just rushing off to question suspects and leaves the running of the business to everybody else, like some authors do. I like the characters and the close knit bound between them all. The mystery was a cold case but with somebody attacking and the sister of the victim and following them it soon heats up. Look forward to the next book.
Izzie hasn't found a story that has interested her and is concentrating on the family run restaurant instead, especially as a long running member of staff had just been rushed off to hospital. That is until she gets a phone call asking her to look into a cold case. A murderer woman's sister wants answers and her asking question has gotten her attacked. Can Izzie run the family restaurant and find the woman the answers she so desperately wants?
I like the narrator. She gives each character there own voice making it easy and enjoyable to listen to.
