Summary
Many tragic and many glorious events took place in the period from the late 1800’s to the 1970’s. Wars were fought, lives were created and lost, and fortunes were made and lost. This historical tale, taking place in and around Aurora, Texas, portrays persons only partly imagined. It is about hard times, forbidden romance, and the unstoppable movement of hands on the clock. It is a story of being found after being lost, of crying out in the night then receiving unanticipated, unimagined comfort. It is also about the weak rising up to exact deadly revenge on evil people.
