A lovely story

I read Anne of Green Gables many years as a child, and remembered how much I had enjoyed it. It quite came up to expectations, was so well acted, and has been a good distraction from the world’s problems and the busy run up to Christmas!

Loved this! Beautiful production.

This was one of my late sister’s favourite books, but I’d never read it. This was a really special experience for me. I can see why she loved it so much. Anne is a wonderful character. The production is superb with an outstanding cast. This is an absolute treat.

A good retelling of an old classic

It took a while to tune into the Canadian accents, but this way of listening to the classics works perfectly. It is in play format, with different actors voicing the parts and background appropriate noises added.

Attaching

A great story about an orphan girl who gets adopted. She is later on able to evolve into a more happy girl. She still remains very curious and is very smart.
