Insightful and useful
I found the narrator of the first book (anxiety exploration) a bit robotic (I’m really sorry to say this, it’s just my humble opinion) but the information he conveyed was very interesting and perhaps it was a problem with my speaker system. I found the second book (hoarding disorder) very helpful and the narrator easy to listen to, providing an evidence base, explaining the disorder and crucially suggesting practical ways to address the situation in a logical order. The book, whilst written for Americans, is universally useful for hoarders. Thank-you Milton Harrison for taking the time to make this book available so that all hoarders can benefit from understanding the background to this illness and how to treat it.

Great insights into anxiety disorders.
Loved this box set that addressed two general topics related to anxiety. In Anxiety Monster, the detailed information presented opened my eyes up to the various types of anxiety. This was especially so for better understanding generalized anxiety, social anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders that were covered in detail in chapters 4 to 6.
The second audiobook that addressed hoarding disorder had me thinking about how to change some of the negative behaviours I had become totally oblivious to around my apartment. Now, I can say that I’m taking some of the steps outlined in this audiobook to correct that behaviour and change those non-supportive habits.
What was important for me was being able to take the necessary action steps to better cope with my anxiety. This box set did just that. The author shares a number of effective strategies for overcoming and better managing panic attacks and behavior associated with anxiety. All in all, an informative collection that I would highly recommend.

A good guide to a less anxious life!
The best way to describe this box set is if minimalism and the state of calmness were to have a baby, it would be this box set. Anxiety can manifest in various ways and Anxiety Monster helps me better understand how generalized anxiety can manifest in our everyday life. I never knew that many people with hoarding disorder also experience other mental disorders, including depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. One of the advice that is shared between both books in this box set is mindfulness. I am quite familiar with mindfulness meditation and it never ceases to amaze me the benefits of the practice on our mental health.
