About this listen
Half-Argoran shifter, Arak O’tir knew good people existed. He worked with some of them. But as a deadly Jutak warrior, his work often took him into the less savory elements of society. So much so, he shielded his heart from those he rescued. That was, until one particular mission leaves him longing for a specific female. Someone who made him tremble even if she wasn’t from his world.
Sylvia Forrester never expected her quest for a husband would lead her into danger. Nor could she have ever foreseen that her search would find her captured by aliens and added to a list of potential sex-slaves to be sold for a high profit. While her captors should have broken her, destroying any hope she’d had of a life happily-ever-after, Sylvia’s savior has her wondering if her earlier dreams could still come true.
But Arak and Sylvia soon discover love and passion has its own price.

Why does the name sound like Eric?!!
Apart from saying seemingly to say Eric instead of Arak, the story continues. In this story you find out who the traitor is and more about Torkel. Performance was good and with the narrative, I couldn't turn off!

Really enjoyed this second book and the narration was excellent. I think the stories could have more content but still ok.

Note to all Narrators! Pronounce names correctly.
How is the name Arak pronounced 'Eric'? Can someone please explain this to me? I found the narrators not quite in sync with each other too. A slight pause or a missed voice intonation letting the storytelling down. By the end of the book I found it quite grating. The woman narrator was just awful! Some Katy Perry California Gurl twang that was just... Well it made the character sound like a dim witted call girl. And that's an insult to call girls!
If you can get passed the awful narration the story is quite good. Save your credit and buy the book. At least you can pronounce the lead character's name correctly.
