About this listen
Eleven years of Parker Stevens' life have sped by, the time moving so slowly, he’d assumed he would be in the mental institution forever for the murders he’d committed when he was 15. His days are monotonous and uneventful...until he is released and meets her.
She elicits a feeling in him so strong that a power awakens within his very being. He doesn’t recognize himself or understand why the power ignites whenever he’s around her. Either way, Parker knows he’s in love.
Luna is trapped. She lives with the man who kidnapped her as a child and subsequently raised her. Now, she’s his lover, a role she is forced to portray and to accept. However, it doesn’t stop her from hating his guts. She remains because she is indebted; she must continue to use herself as payment in order to free her father from captivity. But then she meets Parker, the man’s nephew, and starts to want something...for herself...for once.

Wow....amazing
This is such a wonderful story. Everything you will ever need in a book. Magic, adventure, good guys and bad! I fell in love immediately with this world and its characters. Yolanda is new to me and I’m itching for more!! Great performances from all the narrator’s.

Great story, odd narration
This was a unique this for me. Having four different narrators made things a bit jumbled. I enjoyed listening to some more than others and I felt it broke up the story in kind of an odd way. That being said the story itself is really interesting. It's had some good twists and turns that kept me enraptured until the end. I'm really looking forward to the second volume.

Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession
Wow what an amazing storyline, nothing in this story is what it seems. It is chalked full of twists, turns, intrigue, suspense, and Magic. The characters aren’t even who they proclaim to be, which brings me to the narrators, they did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life.

This is an amazing story!
wow this one sort of blew my mind! it starts of slowly in a normal but rather dark and slightly mysterious fashion. As it moves on it gets stranger and stranger till it's so far from the normal world that you may think you've fallen down the rabbit hole.
Brilliantly written with amazingly developed characters and plot!
Cant waif for the next one.
Highly recommended!

Different...
This was a very interesting book. The premise of it is a little different from other books in the genre.
It kept me entertained and had a few surprises and twists too.
The narrators did an excellent job with the characters' voices.

Surprisingly amazing start to a series!
I don't usually read this genre as I prefer real life romance but this was amazing! The story was interesting and fast paced so it kept you wanting to listen to what happens next. The characters were likeable and you felt invested in them from the very beginning. I loved the instant spark between Luna and Parker and I loved the fantasy world that Yolanda has created in my mind. Be warned its part of a series but I feel invested enough in this story to read the next part, this part of the story doesn't feel even halfway through its story so I feel like this could be a long running series to get to the HEA (if there is one!)

I really enjoyed this book, but to give everyone warning, it has a cliffhanger. I am anxious to see what happens next and hope the next audiobook is released soon.

Love love love!!!
(AudiobookObsession Reviewer) I absolutely love this story! And the narrators are freaking fantastic! Can’t say enough good things about Jason Clark! His voice is so sexy! I could listen to him read a dictionary it sounds so good! But this story is exciting, intriguing, and I can’t wait to start the next book! Highly, Recommend!!!

This book! Oh, my goodness! This book gives life to an avid reader like me. It's like the water we need for our bodies. The intrigue, suspense, twists and turns will have you putting aside real world responsibilities. Also, the narration was excellent. Out of all the audiobooks I have listened to, this is one of the best I have heard. It seemed as if the narrators embodied the characters. I did not feel like I was listening to an audiobook. It felt like I was watching a movie, just without the picture effect. It was amazing! I can't wait to start reading part two.
