About this listen
Temp jobs can be murder!
After losing her dream job as an interior designer, Scarlett Chase is stuck working temp jobs while she tries to figure out her next career move. This week, her undemanding job is handing out food samples in a giant wholesale store. At least her love life seems to be heading in the right direction.
But then—right there in the aisles—bodies start to drop, and it looks like Scarlett’s new boyfriend might be the next target. Who knew a store where shoppers can pick up king-sized tubs of mayonnaise, mega packs of toilet paper, and gargantuan muffins could be so dangerous?
Can Scarlett uncover the clues and stop the murderer before her boyfriend becomes the next victim? Murder—unlike her job—isn’t temporary. Attacked in the Aisles is the second audiobook in the fun and clever Temp Jobs Cozy Mystery Series.

Delightfully captivating.
Another delightfully captivating adventure for Scarlett. The plot is refreshing and original and the story is very well written and extremely enjoyable. The narrator, Amber Battaglia, makes you feel you are right there, which enhances the listening experience even more.
Highly recommended!

Don't attack this book just enjoy
I am just loving this series and I am so glad I discovered this author. This is book two in the series and it is just as entertaining and original as the first. As each temp job is in a different location and even profession, it works well as a standalone because you get introduced to a different set of characters each but then you would miss out on a good mystery. Also although the main story gets solved there is a side story and with each book you learn a little bit more about what caused her dad's purposes accident. I really like the characters, especially Scarlett who despite having gone through a lot is still considerate of others wants, needs and feelings. The mystery was original, well thought out and surprising. Just a fun humours cozy with lots of mystery. I for one can't wait for the next book and hope the author has lot of plot ideas, so the series can continue for a long time.
After her last temp job didn't go so well, well she was busy investigating a murder, Scarlett is being given the jobs nobody else wants. Handing out food samples to customers isn't exactly her dream job, the only bright side is at least the guy she is dating can stop by before heading to a meeting. Then an accident occurs and his business partner is killed in the store. A tragic accident right? Even if the man wasn't liked and had his enemies? Scarlett doesn't think so. Then another on of her boyfriends partners is attacked and this time there is no doubt it wasn't an accident. Fearing her boyfriend could be the next target, Scarlett start to look at her co workers differently. Could one of them be responsible? Can she find the killer before she runs out of sample food?
I liked the narrator. She did a good job of bringing not only the story but also the characters to life.

Not Your Traditional Cozy…
This is a Cozy because it’s short, but not trite. It’s atypical because it’s not a ditzy female running off half-cocked into silly or dangerous situations, yet it’s not necessarily that interesting either!
The plots are innovative, but the police presence is incidental (no head butting here), but yet, I’m not overly engrossed with the story…
My main interest in this series, is the ongoing subplot with her father - far more intriguing and what’s keeping me engaged with this series.
