About this listen
What happens when your fictional crush comes to life?
Adrian is about to find out.
When he complains about the latest chapter of his favorite web novel online, he doesn't expect the main character to come crashing through his skylight.
And yet, that’s exactly what happens.
Suddenly, Adrian finds himself face-to-face with the incubus Knox, a demon who's even more captivating in person than he was on the page. Ebony horns, dark magic, eyes that make Adrian’s knees go weak—Knox has got it all.
But Adrian prides himself on being a rational thinker. He’s not going to fall for someone who can’t possibly be real. Life has taught him: If something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
And Adrian’s troubles don’t end there. Knox isn’t the only one who’s crossed over from the web novel. His most dangerous enemy, the Shadow King, has appeared as well, threatening Adrian’s world.
Knox can fight him, but to do that, he needs fuel. He needs Adrian, needs him in his bed, needs to feed on him the way incubi do.
How can Adrian possibly resist?

A Brilliant Story, Listen & Start to an Amazing New Series!
Silvana Falcon had me at the first like of their blurb, “What happens when your fictional crush comes to life?”, and I knew right then that this story was going to be beyond amazing. It is a fascinating paranormal MM romance novel, an imaginative story that drew me right in, grabbing my attention like no other, and held it captive the entire time. Imagine a book boyfriend, one you fantasized about, not only coming to life straight off the pages, but crash landing right into your bedroom. Adrian could not believe it when Knox, the demonic incubus and lead character of the “Monsters of Veridia” did just that. Is it a dream come true, or maybe a nightmare unfolding? It was great to watch Adrain and Knox navigate their newfound relationship, as well as Knox learning his way around. But Knox was not the only one who crossed over from his world, and there were some other monsters, ones that are stirring up trouble and creating havoc. There is never a dull moment in this action-packed story, a story that has the perfect balance of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Beside the two lead characters there are some fabulous side/secondary characters and I am looking forward to learning more about them and what comes next in this series. Silvana Falcon, thank you for this amazing story and wild ride.
🎧📚🎧 John Solo did a fabulous job voicing these characters and his portrayal of each was brilliant, giving each their own unique voice, one that fit their personality and demeanor perfectly. His talent knows no bounds and his ability to perform many voices is amazing, and he makes it easy to follow along and tell who is who. Solo’s pacing and tone are just right for the story, and he handles the back-and-forth dialogue effortlessly and never misses a beat. He is an entertaining storyteller and his performance elevates the story to another level. Thanks for another amazing listen.

Excellent
A favourite narrator who did an excellent job.
Story - 4 stars. An interesting story where characters from a long-running story suddenly appear in our world, including magic and the bad guy. I enjoyed the reactions of the "monsters" to our technology. The lack of expected reactions from people in this world to a sudden introduction to other beings was a bit odd, although the many positive reactions to the anti-hero were sadly not such a surprise. Adrian's struggles with his self-esteem were understandable, and Knox's support was great. Adrian's grandmother, in particular, was an amazing person. There were quite a few unanswered questions, so I hope that this will be followed by other books.
