About this listen
One of the most difficult things to do can be the loss of weight. There is so much data and disinformation that it is difficult to understand who to listen to. The easier my theory is, the better. It's typically more likely to work if it's easy, and that's what fasting is. It is simple, and there's no cost, no hype, and no special food.
Intermittent fasting is essentially short-term fasting, once or twice a week, lasting 24 hours. This is not so much done to "cleanse the system" as many would have you believe, but to a degree, it will. It's just an easy and quick way to minimize calorie consumption, so without hunger plans or other fad diets, you can meet your weight-loss goals.
However, to a certain degree, common sense must be used. You can't fast once a week and gorge on junk food the other six. Fasting paired with good eating habits will help you easily lose weight and feel better the rest of the week. Losing weight is all about getting calories in and getting calories out. You want more calories to be consumed than you eat. You significantly decrease the number of calories consumed, and you lose weight by fasting one or two days a week.
