About this listen
Driven by strong family culture, author Xianhua Ma passes on the life lessons she learned through serving in the Korean War and surviving China’s Cultural Revolution. Even though she endured cruel hardships, she managed to raise a family and create a career for herself in enterprise culture. A graduate of Xinan University in Sichuan province, she became the deputy secretary-general, secretary-general, and vice-chairman of both the China Enterprise Culture Association and the Industrial Electronics Industry Association. She was also an adjunct professor, an expert consultant at Beijing University, and a widely published author.
Now she shares her story, not only to inspire the next generations of her family, but also to forge an essential connection between East and West.
