Simply a beautiful tale
Truely evocative. Enthralled the senses with images captured , bottled and preserved by a brilliant words smith . Thank you so much.

Wonderful to listen to an old favourite
I was so pleased when I saw that there was an audible version of this book. I read it years ago and had previously looked for an audio version. it didn't disappoint! Harris creates such a warm atmosphere which makes me want to go back to France.

My favourite
I'm glad that Blackberry Wine made it to an audiobook. It's my favourite book by Joanne Harris. It brings back memories too. Playing on abandoned railway in the 70's and finding plants left of an old signal box garden amongst the weeds. Lovely to hear a book narrated by a northerner too. There aren't enough. Pity about the Irish accent, but mine would have been worse and it doesn't spoil the book as it's only a small part.
