Standalone Dark Reverse Harem Romance

Blood of the Saints by Denver Rose is a standalone dark reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Chloe Ryan and Scott Rose.

All I can say is WOW! Denver knocked this book out of the park! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Zamira, Ace, Theon, and Blais was off the charts! I loved that we got all four of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I originally read the book when it was first released in 2021 and was so excited when I saw it was coming to audio. Scott and Chloe did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would HIGHLY recommend this book if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, captive romances, or romantic suspense.

Blood of the Saints

This is the first book I have read by Denver Rose. I was drawn in like a moth to the flame from the very beginning. This is a dark Why Choose, romance. Chloe Ryan and Scott Rose did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Deliciously dark & enthralling!!

What a listen! I was thoroughly captivated by Blood of the Saints. Given the length, initially, I was wondering how I would find the listening time. But as soon as I started, I was hooked! Seriously, I didn't care if I was half asleep the next day just had to keep listening until I got to the end.

Blood of the Saints is a deliciously dark, extreme and intense reverse harem romance. The storyline is a winding rollercoaster with unfathomable twists and turns. It's sensual, unpredictable and exciting. The cast leaves a lasting impression, especially Zamira; she is a strong and determined FBI agent who becomes the ideal counterpart for three complicated and alluring club owners. Theon, Ace, and Blais are dark, complex, and magnetic, with questionable empathy and morals. The men's world is very far removed from Zamira's clean-cut world. While trapped, Zamira learns about the trio's past. Eventually, connecting with them and being swayed by their seductive and controlling ways. Their journey is anything but easy; it's challenging and paved with many ups, downs, and obstacles. As for the chemistry, it's fierce, drawing the readers/listeners further into their story.

Chloe Ryan and Scott Rose did a fantastic job with portraying the cast. They captured the nuances of the characters' personalities and emulated the emotions flawlessly. They were able to draw and engage the listeners even more. Blood of the Saints is a well-written dark and gritty RH romance with excellent narration, which I genuinely enjoyed.

Dark RH story

This was my first Denver Rose's book. This full-length reverse harem novel is dark, intense, intricate, and raw. Zamira, Ace, Theon, and Blais are enigmatic characters. Zamira is an FBI agent undercover. She is reckless, strong, and determined. The men are alpha, psychos, and ruthless. Their relationship is extremely complex. The story is told from fourth POV's. I liked the back and forth past to present. The storyline is intriguing, filled with mystery, angst, danger, violence, torture, and unpredictable twists and turns. Chloe Ryan and Scott Rose did an excellent job bringing this story to life. If you like very dark reverse harem stories, this one is for you.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Dark & Intense!

This dark and intense story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The book comes with trigger warnings and may take some out of their comfort zone, so make sure you check before you dive in. The FBI is investigating a string of missing persons in Cincinnati, not only are they missing, but so is all their money and property. They have some suspects, persons of interest and Agent Samira Stone is going undercover to get close to them to gain inside information for the case. She has her eye on Ross Novak at a club he frequents, but she noticed three others had their eyes on him and then her. Those three men were the club owners, Ace Lennox, Theon Watson, and Blais Monroe. She does not know what to make of them, but when she can not get close to Ross, she tried to get information about him from them. She put herself in the lion den with these three men, who are powerful and resourceful, and knew something was not right with her, so they did their own investigation. They find out who she is, take her, and plan on doing what they do best, get the information from her by any means necessary, torturous means and these deviants get off on torturing people. In their eyes, their victims deserve their torture, and they do have their reasons. Each of them had a rough childhood, which left them broken. The three met in foster care and they formed a bond, and together they vowed to right the wrongs that were done to them and then some. They are definitely devious, demented, and psychotic, but they met their match with Samira. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, dark and twisted thrilling suspense, and some hardcore scenes, including some blood play and a reverse harem style romance. Denver Rose, thank you for this dark and twisted, wild ride. 

🎧📚🎧 Chloe Ryan & Scott Rose did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each their own voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. Ryan played Samira’s role with perfection, grasping all sides of her personality, from her desperation to her determination and strength. Rose was just as amazing in his roles as the psychotic alphas, nailing each role believably. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen.

Dark and twisted

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Denver Rose. It was a longer audiobook and was glad I had a weekend of traveling to listen without many interruptions. This is a dark and twisted storyline with three anti-heroes and a anti-heroine. Once I got past the blood play (there is a LOT in this book), I found myself invested in how it all would play out. There are twist and turns that had me holding my breath. I didn't want to pause it. Super steamy with a HEA.

Chloe Ryan and Scott Rose are excellent narrators. Longer books can be harder to listen to, but these two kept this story moving with an emotional performance.

Blood of the Saints

This book is not for the faint of heart. It is dark. Read the trigger warnings.

Now. what an amazing book. I was sucked in from the first word and eagerly returned to it when interrupted. I will definitely listen again, and hope for more by this author. The narrators did a fantastic job and I felt they performed as the characters were portrayed. Prepare to get hooked.
