About this listen
As captain of the galaxy’s only all-female bounty hunter crew, Danica thought she was prepared for anything. She wasn’t expecting him.
Marooned on a sand planet, injured, and separated from her crew, Captain Danica Miller is not having a good day. When she’s rescued from the desert by a huge, gold-skinned alien, she doesn’t know whether to be relieved or to panic. Not only is he clearly a barbarian — a barely-dressed one at that — he seems to be able to read her thoughts. Even worse? She can sense his. And he seems to think she’s his to claim.
The last thing K'alvek wants is a frail creature distracting him from his mission — even if he does feel drawn to her. Then why can’t he stop himself from saving the willful woman and vowing to help her and her crew get off the planet? Especially when what he really wants to do is drag her to his tent and never let her go.
This standalone action-romance novel features a feisty, all-female bounty hunter crew; gorgeous, sand planet barbarian warriors; action-packed battles; and steamy scenes in an exotic desert oasis.
If you like hot alien warriors, strong women, and fated mates romance with a happily ever after, you’ll love Bounty, the first book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Barbarians of the Sand Planet series.

Exciting and addictive
I loved this book, and couldn't put it down, and I was disappointed when I finished. The characters were well rounded and believable, the world building was fantastic and the plot was intriguing. I liked FMC Danica she was tenacious, and didn't let anything keep her down, I did feel she was a bit too stubborn. I can't wait for book 2, this is a series I really want to follow, the narration was wonderful and expressive.

More, please!
Bounty, the first book in the Barbarians of the Sand Planet, is a wonderfully written alien sci-fi romance. The storyline is well-composed, and it starts brilliantly, as the events progress, it gets better, and better with loads of action and scorching hot steam. The audiobook was thoroughly satisfying; I was utterly enthralled from the start to the end. Tana Stone has created a fascinating world, a sentiment to her creativity and remarkable imagination.
The characters are terrific with diverse personalities and characteristics. Captain Danica Miller and her Bounty Hunter Crew are injured and stranded on a desolate sand planet, after being shot down by pirates. They are discovered by K’alvek and his men, huge golden-skinned alpha-male alien warriors. The attraction and fiery passion between Danica and K’alvek are undeniable, especially when they could be mates.
Outstanding dual narration by Sierra Grace, and Tristan Josiah, capturing the characters' personalities, and their searing chemistry, bringing the story to life. Bounty was a highly enjoyable listen, one I strongly recommend. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Audiobook not to be missed!
Fantastic start to this series, loving the silent, brooding hero (picturing Khal Drogo G.O.T. in my mind) and the independent, sassy heroine, lots of action going on in the story and plenty of steam coming out of my ears, and it leads nicely into book 2 in this series.
I particularly liked and very much enjoyed the way the narrators told the story, were even if it wasn't their characters chapter they still fulfilled their male or female parts. Highly recommend listening to this book.

Brilliant
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline was very good with fascinating characters. These beasts are full of surprises and seem to bond to the women very easily. Excellent action throughout. Fantastic performance from both Sierra and Tristan.
