About this listen

Wall Street Journal Bestseller

After a congressman’s tortured body is found dangling from a Portland bridge, the FBI joins the Oregon State Police to investigate the case - and FBI Special Agent Ava McLane, still recovering from a bullet wound, hunts the twisted killer alongside the man who captured her heart, police detective Mason Callahan.

But once a third body appears and all evidence points to a serial killer, the public furiously clamors for answers - and the couple’s relationship grows fractured under the pressure. Ava and Mason search in the past for clues that predict the future. And when Ava’s mentally ill twin spins out of control, the FBI agent who battles monsters every day wonders if she shares her sister’s self-destructive streak...

In the latest thrilling romantic suspense novel from award-winning author Kendra Elliot, the past and the present violently collide...and the fallout can be deadly.

Another fast-paced plot-driven story from Kendra.

Book 2 in this series is less about the romance and more about the plot which didn’t bother me at all. We see Callahan and Maclane’s relationship develop a little more, and I was completely captivated by this story.

A clever plot with interwoven pasts of the victims makes for a compelling read. We see the k!ller’s signature evolves over the course of the m*rders and Kendra gives us all the details that eventually pull together and make complete sense. Another fast-paced story I didn’t want to put down.

The narration is fantastic too. This duo delivers the goods, sucking you into this must-read/listen thriller.

Vengeance

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this gripping thriller from the Queen of Romantic Suspense.

Mason Callahan rides again with a tale of revenge and obsession. Facing a killer whose just cause got warped and twisted. Whilst coping with a new relationship and the ever present problems with Jane.

Another excellent book by Kendra only enhanced by Amy and Nick's narration.
