These gorgeous guys just happen to have two friends who own a luxurious motel called Little Cypress Lodge. I walk into this incredible hotel and it's like I've entered a new fantasy world. It's warm, there's plenty of food for my kids, and they say I can stay. For free. As long as I need a place.The four of them even want to hire me to do some modeling work for their new fashion line. Crazy, right?

Great Story & Narration🎧 Delightfully Captivating
This book blew me away, my first written by Sharan Daire and I was not sure what to expect, so consider me wowed by her impressive story and start to an amazing new series. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. There is depth to the characters and they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Shelby is a single mom of two kids, she has been struggling financially and is heading to her Granny’s house, except her old car breaks down leaving her stranded on the road. Sheriff Derek Anderson comes to her rescue, though she is hesitant to accept his help, but her lack of funds limited her choices and she and the children go with him to the Little Cypress Lodge. Derek calls his brother, Kaleb, a mechanic tow her car. Derek felt an instant attraction to Shelby and thinks she may be the one he and his brothers have been looking for. Her kids, Liam and Allie, are happy being at the lodge and with their new friends. Derek wants them to be as comfortable as possible because he wants them to stay. Derek introduces her to his brother Kaleb and his two friends, Everett and Chris. I loved the dynamics and camaraderie between the guys. Chris, the gruff and broken billionaire who suffers from PTSD and Everett, the charming one of the two. Shelby finds herself attracted to each of these men and once she learns the dynamics of them and what they are looking for, it all falls together naturally for her. But getting thru to Chris is the hardest, he built walls around him. I loved how everything played out in this book, there is plenty of drama, a touch of angst, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Sharan Daire, thank you for this lovely story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧 📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan were the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that suited their character’s persona, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance, making you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhanced the story to another level. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

You know those delicious books that has you paranoid that someone will overhear you listening to them and it’s amazingly awesomely hot and you don’t really want like some prim and proper person hearing it and judging you,well this is one of them for me. This was off the charts hot but with an amazing story to back it up. The characters are well formed and individual a massive feat sometimes with RH the story flows well and the narration was so well done.
Seriously if you like your books hot this is the one for you.

Reverse Harem Romance
Broke Down by Sharan Daire is a reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan. This is the first book in the My Over The Top Possessive Alpha Harem series.
This is the first book of Sharan's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Shelby, Kaleb, Derek, Chris, and Everett. I also enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.
The book ended on a cliffhanger, but that wasn't a surprise since it's the first book in the series. I can't wait to dive into the next book Knocked Up to get more of their story.
Vivienne and Jack did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like instant connection romances, reverse harem romances, or contemporary romances.

Loved the dual narration of Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan
Shelby husband has left she can't make enough to pay rent and feed her two children. Heading to her grandmother's house her car breaks down and she's stranded. The sheriff Derek finds her before they all freeze to death. Derek is instantly smitten with Shelby. He takes her to the Lodge he owns with his friends, giving them a place to stay. Shelby is attracted to the twins Caleb and Derek and when she meets Chris and Everett, well wow. The four men want her and the children to stay.
Loved this book.

Fairytale
This story is literally a fairytale and I loved every minute of it. Shelby is a young mother down on her luck trying to get to her grandmothers house with her two young children when her car breaks down in the Ozark’s near a lodge. Derek a sheriff finds her and gets his twin brother who’s a mechanic to help with her car. These two men also own a very posh lodge in not middle of the woods with their two best friends. Shelby is attracted to the twins Caleb and Derek and when she meets Chris and Everett it’s almost too good to be true. Shelby is very insecure because of the way she grew up and then marrying a man who treated her and their children horribly. She’s a realist thinking this is too good to be true to be offered a nice place to live men who love her children and a good paying, it’s up to these four men Derek, Caleb, Chris, and Everett to convince Shelby this is her life and not a fairytale.

Excellent dynamic
This book has a great dynamic to the relationship. I love how natural they fall for each other. Great chemistry and a brilliant performance from both Vivienne and Jack.

Fantastic Story & Narration!
Broke Down is a wonderfully written reverse harem romance and an even better listen. A delicious guilty pleasure! The name of the series, "My Over the Top Possessive Alpha Harem", speaks for itself; gorgeous, protective alpha males with scorching hot steamy times. That said, I found the four men more charming rather than over-the-top possessive. For an erotic book, the plot is well-developed and engaging, with terrific character development. It certainly captured and held my attention. I liked Shelby; she is a sweet, kind-hearted, and down-to-earth struggling single mother who was dealt a poor hand. Meeting the guys, Derek, Kaleb, Chris, and Everett, altered her and her kids' lives for the better. I found the guys to be complex, each in his unique way, having distinctive characteristics that made them stand out. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.
The narration was stellar. Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan did an incredible job capturing and portraying the nuances of the various personalities while demonstrating genuine emotions. Overall, Broke Down was a highly enjoyable listen, one I'm recommending.

Narrators did an amazing job!
Woweeee… 🔥🔥🔥🔥 um. There are no words. The story and the characters were highly captivating. The world and everything about it, the narration, just everything was so good.

Great Reverse Harem
This is a first listen from this author and I really enjoyed it. Shelbys car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and her kids are cold and hungry , when she sees flashing lights in her mirror she knows it’s the police. Derek approaches Shelby and offers his help although she’s reluctant she does accept his help and his brother Caleb tows her car to be repaired and she taken to the lodge where they arrange for her and the kids to stay .

A Spicy Good Time
I love a fun and fluffy story!! They make me happy, and this one did not disappoint! It had the right amount of sweetness and firey spice!!! This was my first work by this author and I look forward to more! The narrators did an amazing job!! But Pink Flamingo is consistently great!! VIPFLOCK
