Summary

Ariel Kimber is a 17-year-old girl who, thanks to her mother, has had a life full of unpleasantness and abuse. And it’s about to get a whole lot worse.

After her mother meets a man online, Ariel is forced to move to a different state, leaving all that she has ever known behind. Any teenager’s nightmare. But Ariel isn’t like most teenagers. She’s different, and she has literally nothing to leave behind. No friends, no nothing. They move next door to a house that remains empty all summer long until the day before the first day of school. A school where the other kids treat Ariel like garbage because of who her mother is and the fact that she’s different from them, save for a few – her neighbors. Tyson, his mysterious uncle, Quinton, and twins, Abel and Addison. They quickly become her only friends, but Ariel soon finds out they are hiding things from her, keeping secrets from her. And she wants answers.

Surprisingly, they give them to her. What do you do when you find out you’re not who you always thought you were and your whole world gets flipped upside down? Ariel Kimber stumbles into a world she didn’t know existed, a world of magic and nothing is as it seems. Thankfully, she has the guys to guide her, to hold her hand along the way, and she is going to need a whole lot of hand-holding.

This is a reverse harem series. There is adult langue and some mature content so be warned of that.

Amazing!

I loved this book! To start, the narrator did a great job and made the book feel so, so real. I have read alot of RH books, but this is only the second that had more than five men in the harem. I was worried it would be too many, but it wasn't. I love the diversity in the characters, and while we got to know a little bit about a few of them I cant wait to learn even more. I am hoping for a little more steam in the second book because the tension has been building in this one.

I really enjoy Ariel and I am excited to see how she will flourish with her mom no longer in the picture to be an abusive wench.

I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request from audiobooks unleashed, and have voluntarily left this review.

Loved it!

A reverse harem, paranormal romance. I loved this book, I've read it many times, and listening to narrator Melissa Schwairy really brought the story to life! I loved the heroine Ariel, despite her horrendous home life, she's got a goal to just finish the school year. However her introduction to the coven isn't smooth, and she has trouble accepting her new reality. Some of the coven isn't welcoming and I wanted to hex them for her! And wow, uncle Quint sounds like quite the character! I can't wait for book 2 to be available on audible!

So good!

Ah! I remember the first time I read this book and I got the same feeling now. It is a story about Ariel and her finding a group of brothers, not by blood but by magic. Female witches are rare and they feel lucky to have found her. Not all guys are in it really from the start. Some are though and they are doing everything that is in their power to make her happy. But there are some issues rising. Can they help Ariel? Melissa does a good job too with the narration so I enjoyed this book yet again and will listen it often.
