My name is Kevin Monaghan, and I started a movement that believes key employees, who are so powerful to a business, should experience the emotions and big wins that an owner and entrepreneur does. And that true freedom comes from great leaders creating these experiences right within their firm.
To do that, we had to buck the trends of traditional compensation by tapping into intrinsic motivations. You know, the ones that give you the tingles and make you feel all good inside—the ones that allow your natural, best performing, and happiest self to shine!
By going against the grain, we even had to create a concept called “Owner's Math.” This concept empowered business owners who were balking at 10 percent raises, to commit 40, 50, even 120 percent more to their key employee. Sound crazy? You’d think so, but it’s happening time and time again.
Because we work with strategies that are off the beaten path, that for the most part no one’s even heard of, we have to do things a little outside the box.
You see, the people we serve don’t always have tools such as publicly traded stocks or options. But we found a way for businesses, non-profits, family offices, and more to hack into packages that are designed with and for them, and we decided to take a stand.
We decided to be knights for freedom against enemies like the green monster of envy. We wanted to take a stand for the friendships at stake when “money” gets in the way of great people. Public companies may have Wall Street and deep pockets, but small and medium-sized businesses have family, friendship, and heart. We believe compensation should too!
Freedom isn’t an option for us or those we serve, it’s a must. We set out to provide $10 billion in benefits to key employees while showing organizations how they can still come out on top. And only by creating true win-win scenarios, can we reach our goal.
At intuitive compensation, we are here having fun, doing what we love, dunkin’ our chicken wings in blue cheese dressing, and gearing up every day as knights for freedom.
