Great for any transformers fan
Amazing book, it’s amazing with all the memories of the old cast it makes you feel weird and wonder where transformers went wrong! It’s a shame he didn’t give us a bumblebee impression, I understand why but still it would be nice!

Any childhood hero deserves 5 Stars.
Dan Gilvezan does a fantastic job of describing the life and times of the 1980's. His autobiographical approach mixed with wry humour make this an entertaining venture and gives the audience a real inside perspective of the highs and lows of the team of voice actors he was surrounded by, bringing them to life and providing insightful glimpses into their lives along with a real feel of each actors personality. After the one plus hour of narration I really didn't want the stories and anecdotes to end! This is a short but sweet nostalgia trip, rammed with oodles of extra trivia and fun 'did you realise' quips. A real must for G1 Transformer fans, Children of the 80's or anyone who enjoys Dan Gilvezan's work. And, with this review written, I'm going to listen again.

Excellent account of a classic series.
What did you like most about Bumblebee & Me?
It is an honest account of a kids show that was based on a popular toy line, full of anecdotes and reverence for the characters and people who worked on the show. The actors working on the show clearly respected their characters and their audience so it's understandable that any changes to the show just to sell more toys would irritate the cast. Dan Gilvezan shares his views openly about what worked and what didn't but doesn't comes across as critical which is refreshing.
The short run time makes you wonder if there are more stories that could be told about the G1 television show but it is a fun audiobook that makes the listener want more.
This audiobook comes highly recommended.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The audiobook is full of interesting moments as Dan recalls personality traits and fun moments of his co-stars and their antics which makes their stories just as enjoyable as the stories they performed. Clearly, the voice actors of the G1 show were a great team to be a part of and the listener will get as much enjoyment hearing about them as Dan obviously gets as he narrates his story.
The anecdote regarding Peter Cullen and Frank Welker at his birthday party was particularly good!
Any additional comments?
Overall, a fun audiobook that is worth the money, do purchase this audiobook!

More than meets the eye
Excellent AUDIOBOOK. I keep replaying it. Author has a very pleasant and relaxing. The anecdotal comments are funny. Recommended for all old fans of G1 and any modern fans keen to hear how the original voice actor of Bumblebee viewed the series that started a phenomenon. TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!

3rd listen and I still love it.
This is written by someone who was there. If you love G1 Transformers then this little snippet of life during the production of the series in the mid 80s will be a great addition to your knowledge base. I wish it was a few hours longer, but it is short and sweet and very enjoyable.

An honest book from an honest man.
This is one I'll be reading again, Dan's recollection of his time on the original Transformers cartoon were interesting to hear and made me appreciate him more than I already do. Short but definitely worth the time.

Very Short
Much shorter than I expected, only about 90 minutes, and not a lot really to hear that hasn't been heard before.
I would have liked more anecdotes and less facts and figures about Transformers which most fans, i.e. the target audience of this book, will already have a fair idea on.
Saying that, it's nice to hear how fond Dan's memories of that time are - I was just left wanting more.
