About this listen
Never one to linger, computer security expert Charity Puck doesn’t expect to be romanced by the small-town charm of her latest job. But when her RV rolls into Plentiful, Wisconsin, nestled along the breathtaking shores of Lake Superior, she’s convinced nothing could be more alluring - until she gazes into the delectable hazel eyes of her new client.
Underestimated due to the crutches on his arms and braces on his legs, CEO and researcher Gulliver Winsome doesn’t expect his job to put his life in danger. But as he rushes to bring an eco-friendly pesticide to market, in an attempt to save the pollinators, he finds himself the target of a sinister plot - uncovered by the tiny blonde dynamo he hired to fix his servers. Someone is trying to steal Gulliver’s research, and they’ll stop at nothing to bury the evidence.
With feelings in bloom and the would-be couple’s lives in peril, it’s up to Charity to decipher the clues before they both end up in the Lady of the Lake’s cold-water castle.

Delightful, gentle, romantic!
The love in this book is so gentle and beautiful. It developed gradually and with such depth through the entire story. I cannot explain the artistry involved in creating that magic between Charity and Gulliver. Both these characters are mentally brilliant, with vibrant souls that call to each other and heart-breaking back stories. They are just so loving to each other and accepting of each other. It is just amazing.
Despite how cheesy that sounds, all that love and romance is balanced against the reality of insecticides and their effect on food security as well a darker element bent on profiting from the hard working taking place at Butterfly Junction. As a result the story is both mellow and intense as well as straightforward and mysterious.
Sarah Colton had done a wonderful job of narrating this book. I enjoyed listening to her telling of the tale of these two beautiful lovers.

I loved the narration of Sarah Colton, perfect for this wonderful book
Oh my heart, this book has romance and suspense.
Gulliver is used to people only seeing a man with crutches on his arms and braces on his legs. But he is a CEO and researcher rushing to bring an eco-friendly pesticide to market. He now finds his life in danger. Along comes a woman who sees him and is about to turn his life upside down. Charity is a
computer security expert. She is hired by a CEO of a research company, once she looks into the hazel eyes of her new client. It is not just helping this wonderful man but romance on her mind.
