A professional assessment
Never mind the detractors who say Harrington misrepresents this profession - it’s like saying people who study the arms trade don’t emphasise enough that guns are used for home security.
Harrington points out the various familial functions wealth managers perform, but the rising disparity between rich and poor and the impact on national governance is of utmost concern. Not all wealth managers are aiding and abetting financial leeching, but many financial leeches are aided and abetted by financial managers.
Fascinating, sober study - probably of equal value to those interested in joining the practice as those opposed to the corruptions of it.

really Interesting content yet too negative
I found this book really interesting, useful and englightening yet it really really negatively portraits the profession of wealth management. The book is not neutrally written, be prepared to learn about the profession as a dark shadow work.

Critical and insightful
Very insightful work based on a thorough research of offshore wealth management. It is very critical of the profession... so I'm yet to make my own judgement on that. But "very critical" is not the same as "wrong". Strongly recommended for the insights and the analysis.
