About this listen
As an Arrow, an elite soldier in the Psy Council ranks, Judd Lauren was forced to do terrible things in the name of his people. Now a defector, his dark abilities have made him the most deadly of assassins - cold, pitiless, unfeeling. Until he meets Brenna....
Brenna Shane Kincaid was an innocent before she was abducted - and had her mind violated - by a serial killer. Her sense of evil runs so deep, she fears she could become a killer herself. Then the first dead body is found, victim of a familiar madness. Judd is her only hope, yet her sensual changeling side rebels against the inhuman chill of his personality, even as desire explodes between them. Shocking and raw, their passion is a danger that threatens not only their hearts but their very lives....

Judd is one of my main mans!!!.
This made my heart to damn happy.
Judd and Brenna are the ultimate slow burn romance. They test and tease you. They make you curious and leave you wanting. They break you and put you back together again whole never to be the same.
Judd's character is crafted perfectly. His growth is slow but just. He's depthy with so many layers to his character I feel like I could of dug for days and still not had every bit of him. I was beyond curious about his past and it didn't let me down but it did break me a little for him. For the boy who didn't get a chance. But I also feel like it made the end of their journey so much more special.
Brenna is a tough cookie who's been through so many atrocities that it's a wonder she didn't crack under that pressure. She's strong and sweet and the best possible fit for our tough broken hero. She had the patience of a saint despite her own fractured heart and it made me respect her character even more than I already did.
These two are heartbreaking, frustrating and so endearing. I loved the dry witt and sweet moments of vulnerability where they opened to one another. I craved the tension and waited in anticipation for the inevitable explosion. Its was like nothing I've read before. The impact of them is utter perfection. And despite this being a very slow burn the connection between them developed at the most perfect pace and had me so invested in everything them.
The journey through this world is becoming more twisted with every page and more exciting and unknown. The transition from one book to the next with the running story arc is seamless and gripping. I'm so invested in this world and all the wonders it brings along with the epic loves that follow.
Bring on The next.
Oh and if I haven't made it clear... this is my favourite book yet in my reread adventure. Brenna and Judd are my couple.

Loved it
After not really liking the first two books in this series I expected to feel the same about this one. How wrong I was. I absolutely loved this book. The hero and heroine were perfect and for the first time in this series I connected to and liked the characters. Judd is way up there on my list of favourite fantasy men. I like the strong and silent lone wolf type. Brenna was my type of girl, too. Ballsy, determined, the complete opposite of the first two women in the series. I like that she went after her man and didn’t take no for an answer. For the first time I’m interested in this world and am looking forward to listening to more. After I re listen to this book at least another three times that is. The narrator has really grown on me. Her reading voice is lovely, only reason I haven’t given her five stars is because I still sometimes can’t tell which characters speech she’s narrating. They tend to sound the same. However, the female lead in this book had more spunk, and she narrated her that way. Roll on book number four.

Early Psy Changeling Story
Judd is the ice-like psy who seeks sanctuary with his family in the Snowdancer wolf pack. It’s been a year or so since they arrived and early on, he helped in the rescue of wolf Brenna who was tortured by a psy serial killer.
Now in counselling and trying to recover Judd is the only pay other than Sascha that Brenna feels safe with. In fact she feels a lot more as her attraction to him builds and he tries to fight it and the pain it causes him to feel.
A great introduction to the series other than the first two books with a HEA.

Fun
A fun story about someone who knows nothing about fun and an abused wolf. Can they mate and be happy?

Damaged? Maybe......!
In the third installment of this series we learn more of the incredible world the author has created. Brenna and Jude’s story is one of healing, and of sacrifice. Will Brenna recover from what was done to her by the sociopath? And can Jude’s bond with the Psy be broken?
Once again, great characters with an intriguing plot running in the background. Excellent narration by Angela Dawe who brings it all to life.
