Long-winded

While I appreciate the effort that went into this book, I found it to be a bit lengthy, which made it challenging for me to stay engaged. I struggled with the timeline, as it felt unrealistic and detracted from the overall believability of the story. For example, having the main character crash a wedding at 39 weeks pregnant and what took place in the timeline felt a bit far-fetched.

Additionally, I didn't find Matvey to be a very relatable character, and I think April could benefit from further character development to make her more compelling. Overall, it seems like an interesting story, but I believe the series might have been more effective as a single book rather than two parts.

I won't be purchasing book 2
