About this listen
Bon Jovi. Bryan Adams. Presley West. My favorite men of music. Only one of them within reach.
The night before Presley West was due to leave our small town of Hollings Hill, all of my high school fantasies came to life. He finally wanted me. Eight years I'd spent pining, and now I, bartending Tessa Lisbon, was going to make damn sure I made that night count before the music industry stole him.
Never screw your idols. That's what they say, right? Well, I did, and I did it well. So well, I somehow managed to screw my own heart in the process.
He gave me one night to convince him to stay. In the end, I begged him to go.
Forever.
But that's the thing about rock stars: they do what they want, when they want, and forever didn't end up being as long as I expected.
Presley was back, and with his face, voice, and music now everywhere I turned, I officially had nowhere left to run.

AMAZING
I was so excited to actually hear Cherry beats on audiobooks after reading the paperback and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I laughed so many times and cried all over again. I was very happy with the overall performances of the narration throughout the book. I finished and went straight back to listening again. Vicki James when is Ghost note coming to audio? Very soon I hope. 110% recommend listening to Presley and Tessa’s story.

This book felt so much like home 🥹❤️
I really like books with a connection to music. I like books that have rockers in them.
But this book? It was simply beyond all my "regular" love for books in this style.
He enters my heart deeper because he reminds me a lot of my childhood, including my mother; she's my hero in my eyes.
I was raised by a single mom who was born in the 1970s. I'm a '00s girl, but the music I remember from a young age (which still exists in my playlists) is the stamp of music that revolves around this book.
This book gave me a feeling of home; I couldn't stop smiling and thinking about how much this book touches a place close to my heart.
I laughed a lot, smiled, and quietly sang the songs to myself. I finished this book in a few hours with a huge smile on my face and a feeling of "F... what a fun book I chose to listen to this time!"
Highly recommend! ❤️
Moving on to the next book in the series. 🥰
