About this listen
There’s a new witch in Summerhaven, but is her magic as dark as her chocolate?
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the new chocolate shop on Main Street couldn’t have opened at a better time. But when Tamsyn, Sybil, and Cass see what’s for sale there, they start to suspect there’s a new witch in town. One that might be up to no good.
Before they can figure out if the newcomer’s magic is as dark as her luscious truffles, the chocolate maker goes missing, leaving a bewitched and befuddled Noah as the prime suspect. When members of the magical community start dropping into trances and a mysterious shining disk appears above Pinecroft Cove, Tamsyn has to fit all the puzzle pieces together before it’s too late. She just wishes someone had at least shown her the picture on the box.
One thing is for sure, all the modern troubles have a single source: A madwoman from a century ago, who also happens to be Tamsyn’s great-great grandmother. A trip to the past may be the only way to fix the present and restore balance to Pinecroft Cove.
When faced with a new kind of magic, will the forces Tamsyn is up against be too strong for her to overcome?
Don’t miss the fourth book in the Witches of Pinecroft Cove series of paranormal cozy mysteries!

A treat as good as chocolate
I loved this book but then it is not surprising, the author is very talented at weaving a story that draws you in, almost as if she casts a spell on you. Just like the cover picture shows it is a fun cosy mystery that is driven by the wonderful cast of characters. The mystery is interesting and even though we still don't know what kind of witch Tamsyn is we learn a little bit more about her and her family with each book. You don't need to listen to the books in order as they are stand alone mysteries but I think it helps with the enjoyment and understanding of you start with book one and work your way through them. There is also the added bonus that each book is just as good as the last and your are in for a treat that won't get you fat, like chocolate. Can't wait for the next book.
A new chocolate shop has opened up in town and just in time for Valentine's day but something is off with its owner. Can she possible be casting spells over the chocolates? because nothing tastes that good. Then the owner disappears and Tamsyn's boyfriend Noah starts to act strange. Is there a connection? It seems the strangeness is affecting everyone and Tamsyn's ghost friend Lillian isn't immune to it either. What ever is happening now is also something very similar to what happened in the past and Tamysn will have to figure it out if she wants to save her friends.
I like the narrator she used her voice well to create the right atmosphere for each part of the story and lends her voice well to the characters.
