Loved the narration of Cassandra Arnold
Sometimes it is best not to relive your glory days. Detective Faye-Lynn Johnson is at her 25 year high school reunion. It is there that someone murders the Prom King.
Faye's classmates are now older but also hiding secrets. As she and her partner investigate, they come across twists and turns. Oh yes in between class mates being killed, there is a cat burglar and another murderer on the loose.
A great thriller.

To be a detective...
Another tale of detective Faye-Lynn Johnson as she is part of the investigation into the murders of people she went to school with twenty five years before as well as jewel robberies from the homes of wealthy folks whilst they were entertaining guests doenstairs. Sold partially in the first person from the detective's perspective, there is almost a feeling g of news reportage to the text.
Unfortunately, the narration is again by Cassandra Arnold, whose robotic delivery makes enjoyment difficult.

Good Listen
Another good listen in this series from Ricky Corum. This time fay is investigating the deaths of some of her former fellow students, what is the link between each death? Fast action and interesting, it jumps about with the timelines as each case is unravelled. Casandra Arnolds narration is spot on and really brings the story to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.
