About this listen
Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk whose lifelong efforts to generate peace and reconciliation moved Martin Luther King, Jr. to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. Thay (pronounced Tie), as his followers call him, has written numerous books, travels extensively to offer teachings on the art of mindful living, and has been instrumental in introducing Buddhist concepts to the west. One of the best known and most respected Zen masters in the world today, Thich Nhat Hanh lives in southwest France, where he teaches, writes, and gardens. One of the latest releases is Peace Is Every Breath.
This set features the rare opportunity to listen to Thich Nhat Hanh deliver the teachings that inspired the creation of his most popular books. These talks include:
- Being Peace
- The Heart of Understanding
- Touching Peace
- Looking Deeply
- The Art of Flower Arranging
- Truly Seeing
- On Being Peace…
This eloquent meditation on "being peace in order to make peace" is more relevant than ever.

Peace in action
I’ve always struggled with learning theories with no clear actions and thus listening to Thầy and his talks made me feel alive and hopefully. Thank you for helping us navigating our own path, Thầy.

I learnt some great things from this book.
I have listened to this book several times in order to gather great insights. I was raised in the Christian tradition and therefore some of the Buddhist perspectives are completely fresh. Just now I have been really helped by the image he gave of anger being like compost, which is necessary for planting the seeed to grow the flower.

just lovely
a chance to listen to the teachings straight from the man himself. this format is recordings of Thay addressing an audience with his teachings, and while there isnt anything particularly groundbreaking if youve had his other books, there is something so special about hearing his voice. such love for him. would recommend to anyone.
if you have never experienced thich nhat hanh, get this book, he presents such accessible and wonderful insights into buddhism without being preachy or getting bogged down in cryptic messages.

Buyer beware!
These recordings are absolutely wonderful, a real gem. However I would like to draw your attention to the fact that they are the same Dharma talks as are included in the many other smaller recordings that the publisher ‘better listen’ publishes in Audible.

My favourite of all Thich Naht Hahn’s recordings on Audible
Many hours of wisdom with the benefit of hearing the talks as if you are in the room. A privilege to have access to such such teaching. Have listened to it three times already, it is wonderful company on long walks.
