Good sci-fi book with some glaring plot holes

Overall a very good book got some very interesting ideas on chaos etc.
Shame there is not a 5 book in the series to tie up some of the loose ends, but as we all know Johnny Ringo does not tend to finish off his series before he starts new ones and never seems to get round to finishing off a complete series.
