About this listen
Cocky racing driver Tyler Joseph is sidelined after one risk too many. After being at the center of a fiery crash, he's forced to rest and recover at his best friend's farmhouse or he'll miss the rest of the season. Tyler does what he wants, though, and what he wants right now is the hot, sexy little physical therapist whose hands only touch him where it hurts.
Alec Lands is a sucker for a pretty face, and Tyler's too much temptation to bear. He's promised himself he'll stop dating trouble, but Tyler is flirty, dirty, and stubborn as hell. He can't resist, even though it could end both their careers.
What was supposed to be a one-time thing leads to more. They can't stop. No matter how hard they try, they can't shake this chemistry that pulls them together, and the longer it goes, the worse the consequences of discovery. Tyler's career and Alec's family are as homophobic as each other, and every risk they take could end them forever...but Alec wants to keep up with Tyler's fast-paced life, and Tyler is tired of leaving men in the dust. Can they both resist hitting the brakes on their maybe-forever when it turns out that old habits die hard?
Clutch is a standalone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

Good book, good series
I read this book last year, but just listened in audio
Love this series and this book is just as good as the others. Each book can be read independently but it's also good to read in order as the brothers are always mentioned.
Tyler who's a gay race driver but not out in the racing scene, meets Alec who's family are anti gay.
Can they make it work regardless of what the world thinks of them.
Again Ed writes a wonderful book with a HEA.
Greg does an excellent job narrating this book, as he did with the others.
This is a lovely book, as is the whole significant brothers series, they are so much fun.

Lots of Humor, Boudreaux is Marvelous
Tyler and Alec are the perfect opposites attract couple. From the moment they meet they can't deny the spark and, try as they might, they keep finding themselves working their way back together. There's plenty of humor in Clutch, and E. Davies keeps outdoing themselves in the creative coupling department (LOL).
Clutch is the fifth book in E. Davies Significant Brothers series. One by one we've seen these guys find love, and we're down to just one more brother! All six books are beautifully performed by Greg Boudreaux.

great as usual
I'm really enjoying this series and the different type of people each brother is but still connected as a group. I can't wait to dive into the next book.

Fast, fun and passionate
I loved learning more about Ty! these two were really well matched and their journey from lust to more was fast, hot and thrilling. I like that this story seemed a little different from the other Significant Brothers stories so far which was refreshing. I loved that Ty was direct, no nonsense and Alec matched him and challenged him at every level. These two were steamy and sweet. I look forward to hearing the final story, Josh's, up next 😍

Hot hot entry in the series
I know very little about racing, but this story of an injured driver and the physical therapist grabbed me from the first and never let go. Both the main characters have reasons to keep the fact that they are gay secret, but their chemistry is off the charts and they decide to take the risk. As always with an E. Davies book he uses the hurt/comfort trope expertly and the HEA is so worth all the bumps in the road taken to get there. Greg Boudreaux brings both the guys to life in his usual expert fashion. We feel both the physical and emotional pain because we can hear it in his performance. We also hear the healing as these two guys realize their relationship is for real. Great author and great performance.

Favorite of the series so far!
4.5 stars and my favorite of the series so far! This is definitely a case of instalove, so if that isn’t your bag, it won’t be for you; but it just worked beautifully for me. Tyler and Alec were both aching for love (even if they couldn’t admit it to themselves), and for them to find it with each other made for such a sweet read. Great humor, low angst, an interesting side suspenseful plot, this book just really had it all.

wonderful!
One of the things I really love about this book series is that every storyline is very unique. I like it that they are not repetitive. The found family theme is also something I adore in this series. I also like catching up with the characters from the older books and I'm always looking forward for the next one. Tyler and Alec were beautiful together. They had great chemistry and their relationship grew organically. I loved Tyler's playful personality and Alec's back story really touched me. It was a great addition to the series and the narrator was absolutely fantastic!

Another great story in this series.
I love Greg Boudreaux's audio performances. He does great character voices and always uses the perfect cadence and vocal inflections when he performs an audiobook. He's done an outstanding job with this series so far.
Clutch was an exciting story to read; Tyler and Alec had wonderful chemistry together. I also enjoyed visiting with the other "Significant Brothers." I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
