Friendly advice and personal insight
I like the way you feel you are speaking to a friend who is giving you advice about starting college and it’s nice to hear personal insights. Especially agree that choosing something at the interception of what you love and makes money as wise advice.

Authentic and useful college information
I found this very interesting, as I have a daughter entering college this year and I attended college in California many years ago. I found the facts useful, but I really liked the authentic recounting of the author's time at San Jose State. It's nice to hear a story by a college graduate who understands the value of the educational experience and truly got the most out of it.
