About this listen
When Sam Carlisle was called away to the Navy SEALs, he left behind his family and the man he was falling for. Though he promised he’d come back, he never expected it to be like this: Half-dead, bloodied, and terrified to say anything to the man he left behind.
Wes Adams loved his town, his job, his best friend - and his best friend’s brother. But Sam is gone and hasn’t tried to reach out to him since their fateful first kiss.
When Sam comes back from a dangerous mission, Wes embarks on his own: Falling in love with a man who has already broken his heart.
Can these two make the most of their second chance together, or has too much come between them for love to bloom once more?
This sexy and heartwarming 75,000-word contemporary MM romance Coming Home contains mature themes and strong sexual content. Adults only.

Second chance romance
An amazing book. I loved the characters and the story. My heart went out for Sam and the torture he endured. M/M. HEA. Great friendships and family. The narration was great. I definitely recommend this book.

Good
A nice story by JP Oliver and Peter Styles. Wes and Sam were an interesting couple to get to know. Barney Parkwynne takes a bit to get use to but he does a good job with the narration.

Fantastic performance from Barney
This storyline started off with a captured war hero, he was tortured for a long time which was written well. The writers were sympathetic when building these characters. It then focuses on the rehabilitation and a beautiful relationship. Barney gives a great performance.

Good story but narration wasn't for me.
Great story, wasn't hugely in favour of the narrator, but I think that's an accent thing. UK v USA. But others will love it. I think it was because it was slow, so I sped it up to x1.20.

A great story, the ups and downs of two men who had known of each other for years, one with a crush that had been a secret for a decade.
The finally kiss but that was before Sam was posted on a mission as a Seal. During the mission things go wrong but unknown to his family (Tommy) or his crush (West).
West had given up on his crush with Sam after not hearing from him since that kiss at the airport. So he starts dating, well one date was all it took and things changed drastically for everyone.
This is a very long slow burn, they don't actually get together until about 6 hours into the audio.
Good book but it's a little drawn out, again I don't think the narrator helped on that front for me.

Wonderful!
Second chance romance Is one of my favorite tropes because all the emotions that followed the first reunion. Wes and Sam story Is about accepting past mistakes, to forgive and forget and recover love and friendship. Mr Parkwynne made an excelente job, bringing these special characters to life. A wonderful narration!

Moving romance
An extremely emotional romance about a SEAL coming back to the man he left behind. They have not kept in touch over the years and now with all the changes in their lives due to war trauma and finding one's self, they have to learn about each other again and see if they can make a relationship work. I was really happy to see that the problems these two have were not worked out quickly and easily. The authors take their time with this and it feels right and realistic (in fact, in real life this might take much longer). Barney Parkwynne captures all the emotional ups and downs in this story perfectly and it was a binge worthy listen.

Unbelievably fantastic
This book has just killed my emotions, I have gone from sobbing due to their circumstances, on to cheering them on and just so much emotion whilst listening. The narrator has done a fantastic job at distinguishing the two main characters and giving so much more emotion to the series.

I'm gonna go try reading the series but I just could NOT do the audio. the narrator is just not for me. I only put 1 star for the story because I am really not sure if the story will be good or not but hte premise seems really intriguing
