Summary

When the cybersecurity expert who checked out Stacie’s computer turns up dead, Stacie and her good friend and IT whiz, Trina, find themselves entangled in the ensuing murder investigation. Who killed Sam and why? Was the motive personal or was Sam silenced because he discovered potentially illegal activity as part of a client’s routine security audit?

murder
I loved the narration of Naomi Rose-Mock
While on a walk with her dog , Stacie comes across the body of a dead man, who she recognises. In between dealing with issues of cyber security, a possible stalker and other issues at work, she finds the killer. Oh yes the FBI. A great mystery.

Entertaining mystery
I enjoy Christa Nardi's books and this series in particular. I like Stacie as a character and her story continues to develop through each book in the series. The murder of the man who worked on her office computer drags her into another mystery, this one features cyber security and there are topical messages about this topic. The story is light, clean and entertaining with great characters and their relationships. Naomi Rose Mock does a fine job with the narration as usual. I highly recommend this series. You can read as a standalone but reading the series will add to the characters.

Computer mayhem
I enjoyed this book. This is the four book in this fun series, the books can be read or listened to in any order because each book is a standalone mystery and gets wrapped up nicely. With technology slowly taking over our daily lives, I enjoyed how it could very easily become a problem.The mystery was interesting and with this great group of friends and characters it worked well. I especially liked Trina in the hospital, highly amusing. Stacie's love life seems to be taking a turn, so expect drama but still a good mystery.
While out working her dog, Stacie hears a gun shot and unlike everybody else she runs towards the sound. Lying dead on the ground she unexpectedly recognises the victim and with his death it makes her work life chaotic. Sam was the cybersercurity expect called in to service the computers. Was there a breach? Stacie's friend Trina is the one called in to check over all the computers for any bugs or malware. Until the police discovery a connection between her and the dead guy. The pair of them shared ideas and tips, so if he was killed for something he saw on a computer, why not start with his computer friends? Sam"'s secrecy and paranoia doesn't help, nobody knows where he even lives.The police just have screen names for his friends. Trina has an idea to track down the people who know him best but doing so will make her a target. Can Stacie and her friends find the motive for the murder and in doing so reveal the killer before somebody else gets killed?
I liked the narrator. She has a pleasant voice and uses it well to give different voices to the characters.

Another great listen
This is the 4th installment but can be listened to as a standalone but think it would be better as a continuation as you get to understand all the back stories etc.
This is a really nice easy listen and the narrator adds to the story.
Do thoroughly recommend the series

Good Listen
This is the first of the series I have read and although it's book 4 it wasn't difficult to follow and stands alone well. The story is well written and interesting, it gets involved at times but is very good. Fast paced and plenty of characters for the narrator Naomi Rose-Mock to get her teeth into with the different voices. The climax is a little predictable but enjoyable all the same.
