Abigail Sutton's beloved husband walks out one night, doesn't return, and two years later is found dead, a victim of a long ago crime. It's made her sympathetic to the missing and their families. So many suspects!
Creamed at the Coffee Cabana, first book in a series by Constance Barker, was incredibly enjoyable to listen to. I truly never considered the guilty person as a suspect. What an intriguing surprise!
The narrator was excellent! I was easily transported into the town, alongside the characters.
Ms. Barker has crafted a tricky mystery, with relatable characters, and a lovely small town setting. I'm so glad I chose this book, and I'll be moving right on to book two.

It was alright
I enjoyed Creamed at the Coffee Cabana more than I thought I would, considering that I received the code as a freebie.
Nevertheless, I only rated the book a two because the mystery felt rushed, and the story was too short for any proper development of the plot and characters.
As for the narration, Angel Clark did a decent job telling the story; there was enough differentiation in character voices for me to tell who was speaking.
Overall, it was difficult for me to write a review for this book because it was so shot. However, It was decent for something quick to listen to, and I will probably listen to other books in the series.

Creamed at the Coffee Cabana
Creamed at the Coffee Cabana is the first in a series of (very) short cozy mysteries staring Lily and her two aunts. It is tough to pull off a good mystery in under 2 hours, but I think Constance Barker succeeded. This first mystery is the death of a mean "girl". There isn't a whole lot of time for story development and intrigue, but I think this was well done. The short time allowed me to finish a book in one morning between my commit and lunch. Sometime is it nice to have a shorter listen!
I would recommend this book to cozy mystery fans.

Excellent
Delightful, funny, plot is good, love her description of the characters. Keeping in mind of the Coffee Cabana, as one enters " sweets with the sweets. Didn't refers to the two aunts, they come in one flavor, crusty. Good read for all to enjoy.

Small Town Charm With a Mystery Thrown In
Would you listen to Creamed at the Coffee Cabana: A Cozy Mystery again? Why?
I actually did listen to this story twice because it was short and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. It is so delightful.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well the two aunts, Essie and Hilda were so funny. They reminded me of some of my aunts that have passed on and it made me happy to remember them.
Which scene was your favorite?
I thought the scene where the girl describes how she lost her button. I don't want to give the story away.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did not have an extreme reaction but I did have a very favorable reaction to all of the characters and their little town.
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to listening to more of these books and hearing Angel Clark bring me with her into the story. Her voice is so great !!
